How do I Create a New Lead Status while Creating a Lead?

The lead status attribute is very often a reason for contention between the marketing and sales teams within an organization. The leads status field/column is used to communicate the status of a lead record to the sales personnel who is working the lead as well as the reporting users.

Apptivo Leads App allows you to create a new lead status while creating a new Lead by using Add new option. Instead of creating new status in settings you can create it from creation page itself.

Steps to Create New Status

  1. Log in and access Leads App from your universal navigation menu bar.
  2. Click on “Create” button from left navigation panel.
  3. You can view “Lead Status” field in “Lead Information” as shown in the image below:
  4. Click on “Lead Status” field to view “Add New” option from drop down.
  5. Enter “Name” and “Description” to create new market.
  6. Click on “Create” to complete. 
  7. You can view the created lead status as shown in the image below:
  8. You can also view the created lead status through Leads App -> Settings -> Lead Statuses.
