How do I create contact type while creating a contact?

The contact type tells you the type of contact point a contact is. That is whether the contact is a decision maker, e-commerce users, back office and so on.  Lets quickly go through the steps create a contact type that is not in your list.

Steps to create contact type
  1. Log in and access Contact App from your universal navigation menu bar.
  2. Click on “Create” button from left navigation panel.
  3. You can view “Contact Type” field in “Contact Details” as shown in the image below:

  4. Click on “Conatct Type” field to view “Add New” option from drop down.

  5. Enter “Name” and “Description” to create new contact type.

  6. Click on “Create” button to create.
  7. You can view the created contact type as shown in the image below:

  8. You can also view the created contact type through Contact App-> Settings-> Contact Types
