How do I Customize Estimate Number Generation?

Estimates App allows you t]o choose between the options manual numbering and automatic numbering. This can be done at the time of creating estimation records.

Lets go through the following steps to customize the estimation record numbering. Here we go!

Steps to Customize Estimate Number Generation

1. Log in and access Estimates App from your universal navigation menu bar.
2. Click on "Settings" icon located at the app header bar.
   
3. Click on "Number Generation" under "Estimates" drop down located in the left navigation panel.
   
4. The Numbering overview page will be displayed.
5. Enable "Auto Generate" by sliding the toggle ON and specify:
   • Prefix - Prefix should be added before Estimate Number.
   • Starts with - Starting number of Estimate Number. 
     
   • For instance:
     1. Prefix - Estimate
     2. Starts with -1110
     3. So your Estimate Number starts from "Estimate1110".
6. You can also manually provide custom numbers by opting "No" for "Auto Generate".
7. The changes made will be auto-updated.
