The Number Generation feature of Apptivo allows you to customize the numbering of records. Find the steps to customize the number generation feature in the Distributors App.

The Number Generation feature of Apptivo allows you to customize the numbering of records. You can determine whether you want to manually specify or automatically generate a distributor number while creating a distributor in the Distributors App.

Steps to Customize Distributor Number Generation

• Log in and access Distributors App from your universal navigation menu bar.
• Click on the “Settings” icon located at the app header bar.

• Click on “Distributors → Numbering" from the left navigation panel of the Settings page.

• Here, you can auto-generate the record number by enabling the "Auto Generate" toggle. You can also specify the prefix and starts with number for the distributor.

• Prefix - Prefix to be added to the Distributor Number.
• Starts with - Starting number of the Distributor.

• Here, the Prefix is DB, Starts With is 2. So, the distributor number should start with DB2.
• You can also manually provide custom numbers by opting "No" for "Auto Generate". Changes will be updated automatically.
• The newly configured numbering will be allotted to records while creating new distributors.
