How do I Create Message Templates in Distributors App?

Message templates allow you to set up pre-defined messages. These are customized email messages that you can send to your distributors.

Steps to Create Message Templates

  • Log in and access Distributors App from your universal navigation menu bar.
  • Click on the “More ->Settings” icon located in the App header bar.

  • Click on Distributors → Email Templates from the left navigation panel of the Settings page.
  • Select Create to create a new template.

  • In the Create Email Template page specify:
    • Template - Name of the template.
    • Subject - Message template subject.
    • Message - Content of message template.
  • You can make the template visible while creating both Emails and Notes in the Distributors App by enabling the corresponding toggle.

Note: To make the template more dynamic, you can make use of the Insert Attributes feature to link field names so that the value becomes dynamic depending on the Distributor’s profile.

  • Click on the “Create” button to complete.
  • The message template will be created successfully.

  • You can update message template information by clicking on the "Edit" icon if needed.
  • Consider navigating to the Overview page of any Distributor’s record. Switch to the Emails tab.

  • Select Compose to compose a new email. In the Compose Email side panel, you can see the created template is available in the Template dropdown.

  • On selecting the created template, the template gets added to the email.

  • Select Send. You will be notified that the email is sent successfully.

  • As the template is made available for Notes also, it will be present in the Template Dropdown while creating Notes.
