How to change the call recording message in the Contact Center App?

The Contact Center App of Apptivo allows you to predefine the message conveyed to the customer on call recording while handling both incoming and outgoing calls. Let’s go through the steps to configure this message in the Contact Center App.

Note: This applies only when the default call recording option is enabled.

Steps to change the call recording

  • In the Contact Center App of Apptivo, select Settings from the App Header.

  • Go to Contact Center → Default Call Recording from the left navigation panel of the Settings page. The Default Call Recording page appears.

  • Enable the toggle to start call recording. Additionally, the Message field loads up. The default text is “This call is being recorded”.
Call Recording

  • Here, you can change the message according to your business purpose and save the changes.
Changes Saved

  • Now, when the calls are received or placed, the message configured for call recording will be conveyed to the customer.
