How do I add the Categories and Items for E-Commerce Portal?

To Add the Categories to the E-Commerce Portal, you have to Create Categories and subcategories in the Items App.

Steps to add the Categories

  • Login to the Items App from the universal menu.
  • Click on the More(...) icon and select the Settings.

  • In the Settings page, click on the Items and select the Categories.
  • Click on the create button.

  • Add the Name and the Description of the category in the Create Category popup.
  • Then, click on the Create button.

  • You can view the created category on the list.

Steps to create subcategories

  • Click on the Create subcategory icon under the Actions.

  • Add the Name and the Description of the subcategories in the Create Sub Category popup.
  • Then, click on the Create button.

  • You can view the created subcategory under the Category.

  • Now, go to the E-Commerce Portal, you can view the created categories.

Steps to Add Item

  • Go to the Items home page, click on the Create Item.
  • Add the Item Name and Price.
  • Click on the Categories icon”+”.

  • In the Add Categories popup, select the category to add the product.

  • By clicking on the category, you can view the subcategories.
  • Click on the subcategory.
  • You can view the selected category on the right side.
  • Then, click on the Add button.

  • You can view the added category.
  • You can also add multiple categories.

  • Click on the create button.
Create a item

  • The Item will get created.
  • Now, go to the E-Commerce Portal, you can view the added product under the selected category.

Steps to Add Image

  • Go to the created Item Overview page, scroll down to view the Product Images section.
  • Click on the Add Photo on the Thumbnail image.

  • Upload the image from the local system.
  • You can add 5 images including the Thumbnail and the Product image.

  • Now, go to the E-Commerce portal, you can view the added image as the Thumbnail.

  • Click on the Thumbnail, you will be redirected to the product information page.
  • Here, you can view the Item images and added other images.
