How do I Disable the Supplier Categories in Apptivo?

Suppliers are individual people or contractors from where your company gets necessary products. Every business will categorize suppliers differently. Once a supplier category is created, it cannot be deleted.

For instance: Consider a customer running a business with various suppliers under five categories - Manufacturers, Distributors, Independent Craftspeople & Import sources. At a point, the customer decides to stop being supplied from the import sources due to increased freight and delivery cost. So now, he can disable the “Import Source” category.

Steps to Disable the Supplier Categories

1. Access Suppliers App.
2. Click on “More (...)” -> “Settings” -> “Suppliers” -> “Supplier Categories”.
3. Now, click on the “Disable” icon corresponding to the “Import Sources”.
   
4. It will now be disabled successfully.
5. Now, while selecting the supplier category, the disabled “Import Source” category will not be visible.
