How do I Configure the From Email address in Cases App?

Cases App from Apptivo allows you to configure the from email address. The user can send an email to the clients/customers from the configured email address. With this, they can add one email address to the sender email address. It will give an option to the sender to select the from mail address while sending the email.

Let's consider, Miss. Sarah Castro is the Manager of the customer service department. She got a case stating feature request clarification from one of her salesperson’s customers. So, she wants to reply to the customer with the respective salesperson’s email address. It will be easy for the customer to coordinate with a salesperson for further clarification. Please follow the steps to configure the multiple email address in the Miss. Sarah Castro’s account. 

Steps to follow

  • Login and access the Cases App from the Universal Menu.
  • Click on the More(...) icon and select Settings.
  • In the Settings page, click on the Email and select the From Email.

Note: The Configure From Email option is available only on the Cases App.

  • In the From Email Page, enter the required email address in the text box.
  • Email id will get saved.

  • Now, go the cases and select the case that needs to reply.
  • Click on the More Details.
Home Page
  • From the Cases Overview page, select the Emails Tab.
  • Click on the Compose Email.
  • You can view the configured email id will be visible in the From option.
  • Select the From Id and Send the mail.
