How do I Duplicate a Contact?

For the sake of sales and marketing analysis and also to create marketing campaign strategies for target marketing it may be necessary to create duplicate copies of the existing contact records.

Contacts App allows you to reuse the existing Contact details by duplicating a Contact. Instead of creating a new Contact with the same details, you can duplicate the existing one using the option called Duplicate.

Steps to Duplicate a Contact

  • Log in and access Contacts App and select "Lists" dropdown.
  • Click on “Show All” from the left navigation panel.
  • You can view all contacts on the dashboard.
  • Click on the “More Details” icon to overview the contact information.

  • You can view the "Contacts overview" page, as shown in the image below.
  • Click on the “Duplicate” button.

  • You can view the “Create Contact” page, in which contact information will be pre-populated.
Create Contact

  • Click on the “Create” button to complete.
