How do I Edit a Patent?

The Patents App allows you to organize patents your company owns, link patents directly to upcoming ideas, and organize activities surrounding the task of acquiring and maintaining your patent.

Steps to Edit a Patent

1. Log in and access Patents App from your universal navigation menu bar.
2. Select an existing patent that you would like to update information.
   
3. Click on “More Actions” icon against the patent to be updated.
4. You can see the "Overview" page and can edit the following information
• Patent Information
• Tracking Information
  
5. Click on “Edit” icon near any attribute which is needed to be modified.
6. Modify the attribute and click on "Save" button.
   
7. The changes will be updated successfully.
