How do I create a timesheet with pre-defined period?

Creating a timesheet with a predefined period allows you to fetch the start date and end date in logging hours for tasks. You can create a timesheet with the predefined period while creating a new timesheet, creating a timesheet using a template, or creating a timesheet from the project.

Create a timesheet using a predefined period

  • Log in and access the Timesheets App from your universal navigation menu bar.
  • Click on “Create” and choose “Create New Timesheet” from the left navigation panel.

  • Fill in the following information:
  • Customer – Name of the customer.
  • Start Date – Start date of the timesheet.
  • End Date – End date of the timesheet.
  • Approver – This will be pre-populated as a customer manager. (If the employee who submits the timesheet has customers assigned to them, then the timesheet will be approved by the customer project manager).
  • Period – Timesheet period. Select the created pre-defined period.
  • Task – Name of the task.
Create New

  • Click on the “Add Tasks” button to add more tasks, if needed.
  • Click on the “Create” button to complete.
Create and submit

  • The Timesheet will get created.
