What Security Roles are Available?

There are many different built-in security roles, which provide users with access to specific applications. Once you have identified the right role, you’ll want to assign the security role to an employee.

Below are a few of our most commonly used security roles. There are many additional roles available, and you can even create custom security roles.

Category and App from the drop-down. We will see role-based access from a few apps.

Note: You can also create a custom role for your employees.

Projects App

Super Users - will have access to all apps.

Project Manager - will be able to access the firm and entire projects.

Project Superuser - has access to manage project billing rate.

System administrators - can access the firm and the entire configuration module.

Click the + icon to select a role.

Your selections will be listed under Selected Roles.

Customers App

Sales Managers - will be able to access the firm and the entire sales module.

Salesperson - expense reporting and sales module.

Click the + icon to select a role.

Your selections will be listed under Selected Roles.

Invoices App

Invoicing receivable manager - will be able to access the firm and the entire invoicing.

Invoice reports manager - has access to view invoice reports.

Invoice Portal User - You can assign this role to your customers or suppliers to manage or view the invoices.

Click the + icon to select a role.

Your selections will be listed under Selected Roles.

As in the above examples, you can select role-based access to other apps.
