How to Customize Customer Actions in the Estimates app?

The Estimates app of apptivo allows you to send the estimates to your customers. This application provides a feature called Customer Actions which gives you the ability to decide the actions that the customers have to perform. For instance, let’s consider you are sending the estimate pdf to your client for approval. By using this feature, you can allow the customer to perform certain actions such as accept, reject, etc. With the help of these actions, the status of the estimate will be changed as per the customer's actions.
Steps to customize customer actions:
- Log in and access the Estimates app from the universal navigation menu bar.
- Click on the More(...) icon and select Settings.
- On the Settings page, go to Estimates → Customer Actions.
- You can find the actions such as
- Accept
- Reject
- Print PDF
- Request Change
- On the Customer Actions page, you can change the Name of the actions as per your preferences.
- By disabling the toggle, the action will not be visible in the pdf template that you’ve shared with your client.
- For instance, let’s consider disabling the action Request Change action. Disable the toggle against Request Change.
- On disabling the request change, the option will not be available in the estimate proposal pdf.
- For instance, let’s consider the estimate is approved by the customer.
- Then the status of the estimate will be changed to Approved.
