Apptivo allows you to print the pdf along with the QR code. Having the QR code will help you get the information about the records with the QR code scanner automatically.
Steps to print the PDF with QR code:
- Log in and access the Invoice app from the universal navigation menu bar.
- Click on the More(...) icon and select Settings.
- On the settings page, go to Customize app → Print/Web Layouts.
- Click on the Create button and select the type of layout you prefer.
- For instance, let’s select “Start with the default layout”.
- Give the Name of the template and click on the Next button.
- Now drag and drop the QR code attribute from the QR section as shown below.
- Click the Save button to save the changes.
- Now go back to the dashboard template and select the layout that you’ve created in the Default drop-down button under the PDF templates section.
- Now go to the Invoice home page and select any invoice.
- Let’s consider invoice# 2021-861122, click on the More Details(...).
- Click on the Print PDF dropdown button and select “With attachment”.
- Now the Invoice PDF is downloaded in a Zip file with a QR code.
