Apptivo's Candidates App has a feature called "Triggers" that allows you to send SMS automatically. You may configure the SMS action on the trigger, which provides the ability to send the SMS automatically based on the criteria that you specify. Since Apptivo provides different apps for different purposes for your business, you can send SMS automatically that suit your business needs.
Steps to create a Trigger in Candidates App:
Candidates App of Apptivo permits you to configure Event Based and Time Based Triggers.
- Event Based Triggers - An action occurs when an event is created, updated, or deleted.
- Time Based Triggers - An action occurs when the criteria match the selected time.
Consider creating a Time Based Trigger where the action is to send an SMS in the Candidates App.
- Log in and access the Candidates App.
- Click on More(...) icon and select Settings.
- Go to Candidates → Triggers → Time Based trigger. Select Create to create a new trigger.
- On the Create Trigger page, provide a name for the trigger that you are going to create. To have the trigger in operation, Enable the toggle button.
- In the Criteria section, determine the condition during which the trigger has to occur. You can make use of the Actions by using Add Dropdown to set the type of trigger action. The action chosen here is Send SMS.
- The Added phone number from the contact center application will be added instantly to the Create External SMS Side panel. You can pick one of your phone numbers from the “From” dropdown menu. The SMS Template should be included.
- In the Trigger To field, you can choose an Attribute or Employee to whom the SMS is to be sent. Here, the Employee attribute is selected because you are sending this candidate's information to your Employee who is responsible for the interview.
- Click on the Create button. It is added as an Action.
- Select Create once all of the fields have been filled out to your preferences.
- Hence, The Trigger is Created.
As a result of the SMS trigger action, the SMS will be delivered automatically on the day you choose.
