How to customize the Print PDF layout in the Cases app?

The Cases app allows you to print the individual case’s information using the print PDF option on the overview page. You can customize the layout based on your requirements. Let’s go through the steps to customize the PDF layout in the Cases app.
Steps to configure
- Log in and access the Cases app from the universal navigation bar.
- Select Settings from the App Header.
- From the Settings page, click on the Customize App → Print/Web Layouts from the left navigation panel.
- Click on the Create button. You have three options in the dropdown list.
- Start with a blank layout - It’s a blank layout, where you can drag and drop the attributes based on your requirements from the Palette tab.
- Start with the default layout - Already the layout has the default attributes. Here, you can add or remove attributes from the Palette tab.
- Copy from another layout - Using this option, you can create a new layout from an already existing layout.
- Here, select the Start with a blank layout option from the Create dropdown.
- Now, on the Create Template pop-up window, enter the Template Name and click on the Next button.
- Based on your requirements, drag and drop the attributes from the Palette tab on the right-hand side.
- To change the name of the title, click on the Inspector tab, enable the Title toggle and change the name.
- Click on the Save button to save the changes.
- Select the created template as the Default Template.
- Now, on the Cases overview page, by default, you can view the PDF Template as the template that you created.
- Click on the Print PDF button.
- You can view the PDF of the selected Case with customized attributes.
