Using the Master Layout feature, you can enable/disable the fields from the Hierarchical view. You can disable the entire section or the attributes. Once you enable/disable the fields, you can view the changes on the Customer creation page. Let’s go through the steps to enable/disable the fields from the Hierarchical view of the Customers app.
Steps to configure
- Log in and access the Customers app from the universal navigation bar.
- Select Settings from the App Header.
- From the Settings page, click on the Customize App → Master Layout → Customers from the left navigation panel.
- Click on the Hierarchical View icon at the top right corner.
- Here, you can view the list of Sections and Attributes.
- For instance, under the Address Information section, disable the Address Line2 and District fields toggles.
- The remaining fields, Address Line1, City, State, Zip Code, and Country fields toggles are in enable mode.
- Click on the Save button to save the changes.
- On the Create Customer page, you can view the enabled fields but you can’t view the disabled fields i.e, Address Line2 and District fields under the Address Information section.
