How to customize the List Layouts in Tasks?

You can customize the list layout in the Tasks module. The List Layout feature allows you to add or remove specific fields as per your requirements. If you want to add a field, tick the checkbox of that particular field. Similarly, if you want to remove the field, untick the checkbox. In the Table view, you can view the added fields in the Tasks module.
Let’s go through the steps to customize the List Layout in the Tasks module.
Steps to configure
- Log in and access the Tasks module.
- Click on More(...) icon and select the Settings.
- From the Settings page, click on the Customize App → List Layouts from the left navigation panel.
- Select the Create button to create a new layout. A Default layout is added.
- To change the name of the layout, hover your mouse pointer over the name. A pencil icon will come into view. Here, change the name of the layout.
- To customize the Layout, select the Choose dropdown next to Display. It will display the fields present in Tasks.
- To add a field, tick a field from the dropdown. To remove a field, you can untick a field.
- Here Name, Due Date, and Assigned To fields are added from Task Details.
- Once the changes are made, go to the Table View and select the Display dropdown to choose the desired layout.
- Now, the attributes will be displayed based on the selected layout.
