Apptivo allows you to create custom applications as per your business requirements. Furthermore, it also allows you to customize the application with the Master Layout. From the Master Layout, you can customize your custom application’s layouts, and attributes.
Consider adding the Ref App field attribute from the Master Layout on your custom application, and customize the Ref app field with the create new action.
Steps to follow
- Go to Settings → Customize App → Master Layout in the custom app.
- Here, the custom app is named Business Contacts.
- Drag and drop the Ref App attribute from the Palette to the Master Layout.
- Click on the Ref App in the Master Layout to rename the attribute in the Inspector tab.
- On scrolling down, you can choose the App to be associated using the Reference Object Details section. Here, Opportunities App.
- Enable the Create New option under the Reference Object Details to add the new action to the Ref App field.
- You can also add this Ref App field on the table section if needed.
- Once the changes are updated, click on the Save button to update the changes.
- Now, go to the create page of the Business Contacts.
- You can view the added ref app field along with the create new action.
- By clicking the add icon, the create new opportunity side panel will come to view.
- Update the details and click on the create button to create a new opportunity.
