How to add the Date & Time field in email templates?

Apptivo apps allow you to customize the email templates as per your business requirements. It allows you to add the standard and the custom attributes on the email templates by using the insert attributes. Here, let’s go through the steps to add the custom Date & time field on the Estimates email templates.

Steps to add custom Date & Time

  • Log in and access the Estimates app from the universal menu.
  • Click on the More(...) icon and select Settings.

  • From the Settings page, click on the Customize app and select Master Layout.
  • Here, drag and drop the Date attribute from the palette section.

  • Click on the added date attribute, you will be redirected to the Inspector tab on the right-hand side.
  • Change the Type of date attribute to Date & Time on the Inspector Tab.
  • Click on the Save button to update the Changes.

Steps to add in Email Templates

  • From the Settings page, click on the Emails and Select Email Templates.
  • Click on the create button to create new email templates.

  • Now, click on the Insert Attributes to add the estimates attributes on the email template.
  • Here, you can view the custom added Date & Time attributes.
  • It also supports the Time attributes.
