How to set the visibility criteria for the convert button in the Contacts app?

The Contacts app of Apptivo allows users to set their own criteria to convert a contact. When the contact record satisfies the condition mentioned, then the convert button will appear on the overview page.

  • In the Contacts app of Apptivo, select Settings from the App Header.

  • Select Security → Actions from the left navigation panel of the Settings page.
  • The Convert action is listed in the Objects category. You can set your own criteria to access the action. If the criteria satisfy in contact, the action will appear.

  • Enable the toggle to set your own criteria for displaying the action.

  • Select the set criteria button to set the condition for the convert button to be visible.
  • Here, the condition is set to display the button only when the Job Title is not empty.

  • On clicking update, the changes are saved.
Criteria Updated

  • When the Job Title is not empty, the convert button will appear on the overview page of a contact.
Convert Visible

  • When the Job Title is empty, the convert button will not appear on the overview page of a contact.
