The Receiving App of Apptivo allows you to create zones for different warehouses. While creating zones, you can also add multiple locators to each zone for easy movement of goods to the right warehouse.
Steps to create locators
- Connect to your Apptivo account and navigate to the Receiving App. Here, select Settings from the App Header.
- Go to App Behaviour → Warehouses in the Receiving App. Select the More Details icon of a warehouse in which the locator has to be added.
- You will be redirected to the Overview page of the Warehouse. Here, you can see the list of zones available for this Warehouse.
- You can add locators while creating a new zone or editing an existing zone.
- To add locators to existing zones, it is necessary to ensure the Locator field is marked as Yes. Once this is confirmed, click the Code of the selected zone.
- On the Zone Overview page, you can create locators for the zone.
- You can add a name for the locator in the Create locator popup.
- The locator is added for the respective Zone.
- You can create more than one locator for a zone. You can choose this locator while creating a new record in the Receiving App.
