The Receiving App of Apptivo allows you to create zones for different warehouses. With this, you can easily keep a record of the item moved to the right warehouse. Segregating the transactions into zones simplifies the work.
Steps to create zones
- Connect to your Apptivo account and navigate to the Receiving App. Here, select Settings from the App Header.
- Go to App Behaviour → Warehouses in the Receiving App. Select the More Details icon of a warehouse in which the zone has to be added.
- You will be redirected to the Overview page of the Warehouse. To create Zones, select Create.
- In the Create Zone page, add the code and Name of the Zone. You can also decide whether Quantity is to be tracked and if Locator is required.
- You can also create different Zone types by selecting Add New to create new Zone types.
- Once the Zone type is created, it gets added to the Create Zone section. Select Create to create a new Zone.
- On the Zone Overview page, you can create locators for the zone.
- You can add a name for the locator in the Create locator popup.
- The locator is added for the respective Zone.
- You can create more than one locator for a zone. You can apply this configuration while creating a new record in the Receiving App.
