How do I create an event with employee information in Employees App?

The Employees App of Apptivo enables you to create events by populating values from the overview page of an employee record using the Mapping feature. By this, you can map the values present in the fields of an employee with the fields present in the Calendar.
Note: This feature is available in the Ultimate and Enterprise plans of Apptivo.
Steps to map the attributes of Employees with Events
- Log into your Apptivo account and navigate to the Employees App. In the Employees App, select Settings.
- On the Settings page, go to Collaboration. Here, scroll down to Calendar.
- Here, enable Map and set your own pre-defined values while creating Calendar toggle. Now, select Mapping.
- You will be redirected to Employees → Calendar Mapping Fields. Here, map the required fields. Here, the First Name and Department fields of Employees App are mapped with the Title and Location fields of the Calendar.
- Save the changes.
- Now, go to the overview page of an employee.
- Switch to the Calendar tab and select Create.
- The fields in the Create Event window will have the values as per the configuration. For instance, the Title of the event is the same as the first name of the employee.
