The Master Layout of the Answers App enables businesses to design the layout of their Answers App. By default, the standard layout of this app will be displayed in the Master Layout. Using the Palette section, users can easily add new fields and customize them according to the business purpose.
Steps to add a new field
- In the Answers App of Apptivo, select Settings from the App Header.
- Go to Customize App → Master Layout from the left navigation panel of the Settings page.
- The Master Layout will come into view.
- The default view of your Answers app is shown. To add new fields, use the attributes listed in the Palette tab. This tab is available in the right section of your Master Layout.
- Drag and drop any attribute from the Palette. Here, Dropdown.
- Once the attribute is added, click on it to view the Inspector tab.
- Here, you can change the name of the field. Along with that, you can control the visibility and accessibility of this field.
- The dropdown attribute requires the addition of values from which the user can choose. Scroll down to values in the Inspector tab. Here, add value in the field given and click the Add icon.
- The value is added. Now, you can add multiple values by performing the same step.
- On clicking save, the changes are saved.
- The selected field will be visible while creating or editing an answer.
