How to share a document in the Documents App?

Sharing documents is very important, especially in an organization where restricted access to documents is unavoidable. You can also share this with the addition of a document to the Documents App.

For Instance: Let us consider sharing a document with another Employee from the web.

Steps to Share

  • Login and access the Documents App → My Documents.
  • Here, you can view the list of documents in your account.

  • You can view the document’s actions like Download, Rename, Share, and Delete under the Actions.
  • Click on the Share Action button.

  • You will get the Share file Settings pop up.
  • You can share the document with the Employee or Team.
  • Type the employee names first letter to get the lists of the employee starts with that letter on the Share With field.

  • Similarly, you can get the list of teams in the Share With field.

  • In the File Being Shared, you can view the File name with the Format.

  • In the Message box, you can view the default message. You can also edit as per your need.
  • Then, click on the Share button.

  • The Document will get shared with the selected Employee or Team.
Document shared

  • The employee can view the shared document on their My documents → Shared Folders.
