Apptivo allows you to perform the actions under certain criteria by using the Tiggers.
Triggers in Apptivo are of two types. They are:
- Event-Based Triggers
- Time-Based Triggers
Create an Event-Based Trigger where the action is to create a note.
- Login and access the Notes app from the universal menu.
- Click on the More(...) Icon and select the Settings.
- On the Settings page, click on the Notes and select the Tiggers → Event-Based Trigger.
- Click on the Create Button.
- On the Create Trigger page, add a name for the trigger. In addition to this, you can also set the event during which the action has to occur. Here, Notes Created.
- Keep the enabled Toggle ON to have the trigger in operation.
- In the Criteria section, determine the condition during which the trigger has to occur. Here, the condition is to generate a trigger when the note is created by a specific employee.
- You can add the Actions to trigger based on the note creation. Here, the update attribute is to be done, then select the action as Update Attribute.
- On the Create Trigger side panel, the action is to update the Share With Attribute with the Manager email id.
- Click on the Create.
- The Action will get created and added.
- Then, click on the Create button to create the Trigger.
- Triggers will get created and added to the list.
- Now, when the Notes is created by the employee Rose Jensen the Shared With attribute will get an update with the added employee name.
