Apptivo apps allow you to add and get the reference value by using the Ref app fields and values.
Consider adding a Number field in the Items app named HSN code and get the value in the Invoice and print as a PDF file.
Steps to add the Number Field in Items app
- Go to Items → Settings → Customize App → Master Layout.
- Drag and Drop the number attribute from the Palette to the Items Details section.
- Click on the attribute, you will be navigated to the inspector tab on the Right side.
- Change the name of the attribute as HSN.
- Then, click on the Save button.
- Now, create an item with the HSN code.
Steps to add the HSN code in Invoice
- Go to the Invoice app → Settings → Customize App → Master Layout.
- In the Master Layout, drag and drop the Ref app field from the Palette to the Product/Items Sold table.
- Click on the added Ref App Field, you will navigate to the Inspector tab.
- Change the Name as HSN code.
- Scroll down the Inspector tab to view the Reference Field Details.
- Select the Item app in the Reference Object.
- In the Reference Field, select the HSN code from the Items app.
- With that, you can get the HSN code whenever the Item is selected in the Item Name field.
- Click on the Save button to save the changes.
- Now, create an Invoice for an item with the HSN Code.
Steps to add the HSN code in Print PDF
- Go to the Settings → Customize App → Print/ Web Layouts.
- Click on the View Template icon on the Default Layout.
- Scroll down to view the Items Table.
- Here, drag and drop the HSN code from the Palette.
- Then, Click on the Save button.
- Now, go to the Invoice Overview page and click on the Print PDF button.
- You can view the HSN code in the downloaded PDF.
