How do I configure Global Search for all the employees in my business?

The Admins can make use of the Global Search feature available in the Business Settings page to configure the Apps in which the search has to be carried out by the employees in the business.

  • Select the User Menu from the top right corner of your Apptivo Home Page. In the User Menu, select Business Settings.

  • The Business Settings page will appear. Select Global Search from the left panel.
  • The Global Search page will come into view. The list of apps added to your account will be listed in the Selected Apps section. When you perform a global search, the search operation will be carried out across all your applications.

  • To limit the search to selective applications, select the apps in which the search need not take place in the Selected App section. Select the < icon.

  • The selected Apps are excluded from the Global Search and are moved to the App Categories section.
Apps Moved

  • By selecting the applications and clicking the > icon, the selected apps will be moved to the Selected Apps list from the App Categories.
  • You can also move all the apps available in the App Categories to the Selected Apps list by clicking the >> icon.
  • The changes are saved automatically. Now, perform a Global Search in your Apptivo account.
Global Search

  • The data will be searched only in the applications configured in the Global Search page in the Settings.
