How to configure update notifications with dynamic From Address in Customers App?

  • Log in and access Customers App from your universal navigation menu bar.
  • Click on More (...) icon and select the Settings.
  • In the Settings page, click on the Notifications and select the Update Notification.
  • Click on “Create” Button.

  • In the Create Notification page, enter the Name of the Notification.
  • Enter the Description of the Notification for your reference.

  • Enabled - By default this Toggle will be enabled when creating update notification. Toggle off to disable, if the feature need not be applied.

Dynamic From Address

  • From Address Selects the Email Id of the Sender. Here, Choose dynamic.
  • In the Dynamic, you can choose the email address from the list of employees or teams.
  • Search and select the employee from the list.

  • Enable the Toggle for Employee for sending the notification to the Employee.
  • By enabling the Default for the employee, you can keep this notification default for the Employee.

  • Then, Enter the Criteria for the Notification.
  • Select the Attribute and Fill in the Value of the Attribute.
  • You can determine whether the notification is for the New or Old set of attributes.
  • Select the attribute of the customer app in the Insert attribute.
  • Depending on the attribute, select the operator to complete the condition. For example, if you want to send the notification mail for the customers who are getting created under Customer category - Seafood.

  • In the Message tab, enter the Content of the email template.
  • Enter the Subject of the mail and add design to the email template as per your business need.
  • You can add the custom design by using source code by copy-pasting.

  • In the Recipients tab, you can add the static List of People to be notified.
  • For the Static List, you define your own recipients.
  • Associated object Report, you add attributes in the Customer Record as a Recipient.
  • Click on the “Create” button to create the Notification.

  • You can view the created notification on the list.
  • The customer will receive an email notification once the criteria are met.
