Projects app helps to manage all of your projects with their project goals and objectives. The Projects app is deeply integrated with all our apps to communicate with one another. With that, any project task can be recorded and invoiced to the customers directly. Customization is the one the elite functionality of Apptivo apps. You can customize your projects with the Counter attribute to generate the unique number for your projects with the prefix of your own specific numbers.
Steps to Configure
- Login and access the Projects app from the universal menu.
- Click on the More(...) icon and select the Settings.
- In the Settings page, click on the Customize app and select the Master Layout.
- You can view the Palette on the Right side of the screen of the Master Layout.
- Scroll down and view the Counter attributes under the Attributes section.
- Drag and drop the counter attribute with the place you want to keep the attribute.
- Click on the Counter Attribute, you will be navigated to the Inspector Tab on the Right side.
- In the Inspector tab, you can customize the attribute name and the other functional properties of the attribute.
- Change the attribute name in the Name section in the Counter Properties.
- Then, Scroll down to the Counter column and Set the Prefix Type as Static Text, Prefix as the name that you wish to add as a Prefix to the Counter and the Starts With as 1.
- Here, the Prefix is set as JD_0, so that the serial number starts at JD_01, JD_02, JD_,03... Etc.
- Now, go to the Projects App home page and click on the Create Project.
- You can view the Counter attribute.
- Once the project is created, you can view the auto-generated will get generated.
