How to create an Associated object report in contacts app?

Apptivo allows you to create Associated Object reports in any app. With the help of Associated Object Reports in the Contacts App, you can now create a report with the records of the contacts app and any other associated objects. You can export the report and get it downloaded in CSV format.
Steps to Follow
- Log in and access the Contacts app from the Universal navigation menu bar.
- Click on the More (..) icon from the app header and select Settings.
- Now Select Reports→ Associated object reports from the left side panel.
- The Associated objects report page will open, click on the Create button.
- Now the name of the report is given as “New deals”, the Associated object is selected as Customers. If you want you can either enable or disable the Advanced Filter Option.
- With the help of the Criteria section, you can filter the attributes according to your requirements. By doing this, you will be able to generate a report with the attributes that you wish to have.
- In the Insert attribute dropdown, the contact details of the Customer is selected, here the customer is selected.
- To create Associated Object records, you need to select the column attributes too.
- The column attributes list helps you to decide the title of the column of your report.
- Here the Filter attribute section is updated as Contact Type and you can select the attributes that you wish to add in the column of the report. Here First name, Last name, Job title, and Customer. Click on the Arrow to update it.
- Now for the Associated objects Customer column, assign a Filter attribute. Here it’s assigned as a Category, now select the column attributes that you wish to update. Here the Name, Category, Status, Sales Rep are updated.
- You can also view the consolidated view of the selected attributes.
- Now the Associated Object report is created.
- Click on the Reports icon to view the Reports.
- You can see the New deals report present below the Associated Object reports in the right panel.
- When you click on it, you can see the View report option on the right side. click on it and you will find the report.
- Here in the report, you can see the list of column attributes that you selected and the filter attribute you have set.
- You can click on the Export and get the report downloaded in CSV format.
Note:
- The reports incorporates a "Privilege" feature, offering authorized access to designated individuals. Those who possess the necessary privilege will have the capability to access and review the reports.
- You have the option to assign either a standard or custom privilege to the reports and allocate it to employees within various roles as needed.
