The Master layout is common for all Apps which supports you to customize your business with custom fields. The file attribute helps you to browse your files needed to be attached to the corresponding apps. Every app of Apptivo makes use of the File attribute and this attribute can be configured in the Master layout of all the Apps.
Follow here the steps to configure File Attribute. (For instance - We will configure File Attribute in Opportunities App)
Steps to Configure File Attribute in Master Layout
- Log in and access Opportunities App from the universal navigation menu bar.
- Click on “More (...)” Icon and select “Settings” from the App header bar.
- Click on the “Customize App” drop-down and select “Master layout” from the left navigation panel.
Note: If you are a standard plan user, then you need to upgrade your account to use this master layout feature. It would be notified as below:
- You can view the Master layout page. Now, we can drag and drop the necessary attributes required for your business.
- In the Palette section, move to "Attributes" and scroll down till you reach the "File" attribute.
- Drag the File Attribute and drop in the section where you needed in the Master layout.
- You can rename the attribute as per your wish. By clicking on the Attribute, you will be redirected to the Inspector tab where you can rename the attribute. For instance: Opportunity File.
- Click on the "Save" button to get updated.
- Now move back to the Opportunities home page and click on the "Create" button to create a new opportunity.
- You can view the "File" attribute placed. Browse for your required file.
