Items app allows you to create your own item’s based category. It's possible to create multiple subcategories for the category you created. You can also enable/disable the category you created. The Categories feature helps you to identify the items easily. While creating an item, you can also add the category related to that item.
Let’s go through the steps to create categories in the Items app.
Steps to configure
- Log in and access the Items app from the universal navigation bar.
- Select Settings from the App Header.
- From the Settings page, click on the Items → Categories from the left navigation panel.
- Click on the Create button to create a new category.
- Provide the required information and click on the Create button.
- You can view the created category on the Categories page.
- You can create the Sub Category for the created category. If you want to edit the Category, click on the Pencil icon.
- Click on the Delete icon to delete the category.
- Now, on the home page, you can view the created category from the By Category dropdown.
- You can view the items related to the selected category on the dashboard.
