How do I Create and Set Triggers in CRM apps?

Triggers allow you to perform automated actions like triggering an email or updating an attribute based on a particular criterion. Apptivo CRM Apps allows you to set two types of triggers. They are as follows,
- Event-based
- Time-based
With triggers, you are able to specify exactly how automation will be initiated. You can add multiple triggering conditions so that the same automation is initiated for multiple events
To Create Triggers in Leads App
- Log in and access Leads App from your universal navigation menu bar.
- Click on “More (...)” icon → "Settings" → "Leads" → "Triggers".
- Here, you can create two types of triggers:
- Event-Based - Event-based triggers can be generated while creating, editing, or deleting leads.
- Time-Based - Time-based triggers can generate an action when the criteria match at the selected time. It can be one-time or recurring.
To Create Triggers in Opportunities App
- Log in and access Opportunities App from your universal navigation menu bar.
- Click on “More (...)” icon -> "Settings" -> "Opportunities" -> "Triggers".
- Here, we can create two types of triggers:
- Event-Based - Event-based triggers can be generated while creating, editing, or deleting opportunities.
- Time-Based - Time-based triggers can generate an action when the criteria match at the selected time. It can be one-time or recurring.
To Create Triggers in Customers App
- Log in and access Customers App from your universal navigation menu bar.
- Click on “More (...)” icon -> "Settings" -> "Customers" -> "Triggers".
- Here, we can create two types of triggers:
- Event-Based - Event-based triggers can be generated while creating, editing, or deleting customers.
- Time-Based - Time-based triggers can generate an action when the criteria match at the selected time. It can be one-time or recurring.
To Create Triggers in Contacts App
- Log in and access Contacts App from your universal navigation menu bar.
- Click on “More (...)” icon -> "Settings" -> "Contacts" -> "Triggers".
- Here, we can create two types of triggers:
- Event-Based - Event-based triggers can be generated while creating, editing, or deleting contacts.
- Time-Based - Time-based triggers can generate an action when the criteria match at the selected time. It can be one-time or recurring.
To Create Triggers in Cases App
- Log in and access Cases App from the universal navigation menu bar.

- Here, we can create two types of triggers:
