How can I give permissions to save the custom view in Opportunities App?

If you have customized a view for analytical purpose and want to reuse the view, you need to save the view.  A prominent feature in Opportunities App allows you to save preferred views. However, remember that you need to have the privilege to save the  preferred views,only then can you use “Save As View" option found in Opportunities App.

Lets quickly go through the following steps.

Steps to give user permission to save the custom view in Opportunities app

1. "Log in” and access “Opportunities App” from your universal navigation menu bar.
2. Click on “More” icon and select “Settings” located at the app header bar.
   
3. Click on “Actions” from security drop down from left navigation panel.
4. Locate the “Save As View” option from “App” section and click on privileges drop down.
   
5. Click "Create privilege" option found at the bottom of the privilege drop down.
6. Create privilege pop up appears. Enter the name and description of the new privilege that you want to add against the “Save As View” option.
   
7. Click on "Create" button.
8. After creating the privilege go to Employees App to give access to particular employees.

10. Now, employee James William has the privilege to save the view for an Opportunity. In James William login, the “Save As View” button will be visible as shown in the image below:
