How do I create a segment while creating a lead?

A process of dividing a market of potential leads into segments on the basis of their characteristics is known as market segmentation. The customers belonging to similar segments will respond in a similar manner to the marketing strategies. The reason is they share similar needs or interests.

The approach strategies that are designed for each segment is different as they are based on the traits such as

• Needs
• Lifestyles
• Demographics
• Personality

Apptivo Leads App allows you to create your own segments. Markets & Segments allows you to classify your customers based on how you view your market. Let’s run through these steps quickly.

Steps to create a Segment

• Log in and access Leads App from your universal navigation menu bar.
• Click on the "Create" button from the left navigation panel.
• You can view the "Segment" field in "Additional Information" as shown in the image below:

• You can click on "Add New" to create a new segment from "Additional Information" once you have selected a created market from the dropdown.

• Enter "Segment Name" and click on the "Create" button.

• You can view the created segment as shown in the image below:

• You can also view the created segment through Leads App -> Settings -> Markets & Segments.
