The Requirements App helps clearly define quality standards for your product database, as well as assisting to define the scope for your company projects. The requirements app is a centralized location to store this information, which is then linked to the Items & Projects Apps.
Steps to Customize Requirements Conversion
- Log in and access the Requirements app from your universal navigation menu bar.
- Click on the “Settings” icon located at the app header bar.
- Click on “Requirements → Conversion” from the left navigation panel of the Settings page. You can perform both Standard and Custom Conversion.
- Standard Conversion carries out conversion with the default fields mapped and Custom Conversion performs conversion based on the mapping carried out by the users.
- Here, consider performing Standard Conversion in the Projects App.
Steps to Convert Requirement to Project
- Create a new requirement or select an existing requirement to convert.
- Click on the “Convert” button and select the “To Project” option.
- The Create Project page comes into view. Here, the values are mapped according to the default configuration made in the backend.
- Make the necessary changes and select Create to complete creating a project.
